What an amazing show!
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to your show as you discussed the medicating of our children with psychotropic drugs. I hope that many people will listen, learn and act accordingly braced with the knowledge to oversee their child's emotional/mental health. I might also add that some parents actually benefit from their child being diagnosed/dependent on drugs as it entitles them to benefit financially through SSI - seriously an issue.

You asked a question about Barack Obama addressing our issues. I think a real leader will address the major concerns that affects our community as you are taking the initiative in addressing the responsibilities of our father. Mr. Obama is a child who was raised by a single mother so therefore that is something that he can relate to - have you considered that? Are you looking at him in a different light because he is now in a different path to success? When will it be a good time to discuss our issues? If we are to keep it real with ourselves, we as a people have the highest rates of health disparities, single parent households, incarcerated population, drop out rates, murder and robbery in our communities - should we ignore it or should we address it? Or do we decide who is qualified to address it? I think we need to stand up as a people and say enough is enough. The statistics are no secret to the other races..... We need to take control and do our forefathers proud - they managed to bring us this far despite their challenges.
